Thank you for taking the time to look at my page and learn a little more about me, my history in the community and the real estate industry!

I have lived all my life in Jefferson County. I grew up in the small coal mining town of Scheller and attended Catholic Church and School within eye-sight of my house! I now live in Waltonville, in a small house that my dad helped my grandpa build in 1949.  After immigrating from Europe in the late 1800’s, both sides of my family settled in Jefferson County. My husband, Patrick, and I have two grown daughters and six beautiful grandbabies! Of course, we also have several “granddogs”!

I enjoy spending time with my family. You may find me hauling grandkids to sporting events or practice, Or, you may find me helping my daughter, Tiffany, with her non-profit, Tiffany’s Closet. Tiffany donates dresses, shoes, flowers and jewelry to girls for special occasions. She has over 5,000 dresses in her inventory at any given time! That is a lot of dresses!

I have been working in the real estate profession since 1996. I am a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the Illinois REALTORS® (IR), the Egyptian Board of REALTORS®, and the RMLS Alliance, LLC, Multiple Listing Service (MLS).

I am a Past President for the Egyptian Board of REALTORS®. In 2011 and again in 2019, I was honored to be selected as the Egyptian Board of REALTORS®, REALTOR® of the Year.

I currently serve on the RMLSA Alliance Council to help with our Multiple Listing Service. I have served as Chairman of the Egyptian Board of REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service Committee and enjoy the challenge of keeping my profession at the top of technology; the Egyptian Board of REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC); chairman of the Education/Technology Committee, Finance Committee, and various other committees of the Egyptian Board of REALTORS®, including Strategic Planning.

I currently serve on the Illinois REALTORS® Professional Standards and Grievance committees.

I am a firm believer in education and have taken numerous education classes to stay abreast of the changes and laws in my business. In 2007, I completed the third annual class to obtain the designation of Graduate REALTORS® Institute (GRI). I have completed the courses for my e-PRO designation. e-PRO Certification is NAR's online training program to certify real estate professionals as Internet Professionals. I have also completed a Certified Staging Class to receive my CSC certification. In 2014, I completed the SRS, Seller Representative Specialist designation. In 2015, I completed the SRES, Senior Real Estate Specialist, to help me serve my generation of the Baby Boomers better! In 2019, I completed the course work for the NAR C2EX program, Commitment to Excellence.
